The Apostle John when writing about John The Baptist in Chap 1 tells us that “he was a man sent from God.” This gave John The Baptist a very important role as an envoy from God to the people. John’s message was very clear. It was to alarm the world that Jesus was coming. For centuries God has been using various peoples to continue to spread the message of the Gospel. It was not a coincidence that we see today the same rejection of the Messiah that took place in Johns day. John tells us V:1 “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.“ In V:14 he tells us “the Word became flesh and He dwelt among us…..” John indicated to us that the world and everything in it was created by Jesus. How sad it truly has to be that the Creator comes to the world that HE created only to be rejected by the very souls He creates. The enemy of this world (Satan) has done a remarkable job in convincing God’s people to not receive Him in fellowship. The greatest accomplishment you can receive in this life time is to receive Him before it is too late. Our earthly accomplishments end when we take our last breath. Then we will stand in front of the One who made it all. Oh, yes and by the way, and it matters not that you don’t believe it. You are not the creator! Receive the One who created all things, His name is JESUS!
