Fri the 16th we had our Annual Tamale Cook for our upcoming “Tamale Sunday.” For 3 yrs now we celebrate the Sunday before Christmas as a Fellowship with a Tamale Potluck. The Church provides the fixings (along with some un-named saints) and a group of folks meet on the Friday before to assemble them. It is a great deal of work however the fellowship is very uplifting especially this time of season. What a blessing to have some of our old friends back with us on this day to just hang out and enjoy each other. This is a time when we can all be thankful for the many blessings that God has given us. Some ladies came on their lunch hour, some before they left for work, & yet others were able to stay the whole time. It blesses me to see the hard work that is done in the name of the Lord to bless others. Wont you take sometime this year to bless others even when you don’t feel up to it I promise you it will be accounted to you by our Heavenly Father.
